Enable Third‑Party Cookies on Your Browsers

If you’re having trouble using the Google Classroom Add‑on or LMS integrations on Wayground, it may be because third‑party cookies are blocked in your browser.

Here’s when cookies are required:

  1. Google Classroom Add-on (GC Add-on): Third‑party cookies must be enabled for the add‑on to work.
  2. LMS (LTI) integrations (Canvas, Schoology, Moodle, Blackboard, etc.): Third‑party cookies may be needed on Safari or certain browsers. On most other browsers, integrations work even if cookies are blocked.

For the best experience with LMS integrations on Wayground, we recommend keeping third‑party cookies enabled on your browser.

How to enable third‑party cookies

Chrome and Chromium‑based browsers (Edge, Brave, Opera)

  1. Open Chrome and click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the upper right corner.
  2. Select ‘Settings’.
  3. Click on ‘Privacy and security’ from the left menu.
  4. Click on ‘Third-party cookies’.
  5. Select ‘Allow third-party cookies’.

Safari (macOS)

  1. Open the Safari app.
  2. In the menu bar at the top of your screen, click on Safari.
  3. Select ‘Settings’ (or Preferences on older macOS versions).
  4. Click on the ‘Privacy’ tab.
  5. Uncheck the box next to ‘Prevent cross-site tracking’.
