Import Classes From ClassLink Into Wayground as a Teacher

Created by Ajith Pawar, Modified on Tue, 2 Sep at 12:47 AM by Ajith Pawar

Teachers can import their classes from ClassLink into Wayground. This allows them to assign Assessments/Quizzes and Lessons directly to their ClassLink classes, saving time as ClassLink Sync automatically manages teacher and student associations from SIS courses and sections.

Note: To import your ClassLink classes into Wayground, your District Administrator must first roster you into your School District's Wayground Plan. Click here to learn more.

When it comes to importing classes from ClassLink, here are some points to keep in mind:

  • Teachers have the option to accept or decline classes that are synced with ClassLink
  • ClassLink Class does not support grade sync. You can alternatively import classes from a learning management system (LMS), such as Google Classroom, Canvas, or Schoology, to sync grades from a class-assigned activity

Here are the steps you can follow to import classes from ClassLink into Wayground:

  1. Log into your Wayground account
  2. Click on the 'Classes' tab on the left navigation pane
  3. Click on the drop-down on the right-hand side of your screen and select ' ClassLink'

  4. Enter your ClassLink credentials to authorize Wayground to access your classes
  5. On the pop-up window, select the classes you want to import, and then click on 'Next'

Your classes and their respective student and teacher associations will now be imported, and you'll be able to assign Assessments/Quizzes and Lessons to them.

Note:

  1. When syncing classes via integrations with LMSs such as Google Classroom, Canvas, Schoology, Clever, ClassLink, etc., there is a limit of 5000 students per class.
  2. If you have any questions about rostering and importing classes, please refer to our FAQs.
