Once students complete an assigned or participated session, they can revisit it and turn it into flashcards to practice with. Follow these steps:

  1. Log into your Wayground account
  2. Go to your dashboard page
  3. Click on the 'Activity' tab
  4. Click on the 'Completed' section. Here, you'll find all the sessions you've completed
  5. Click on the session you would like to practice using flashcards
  6. Click on 'Flashcards'

  7. Choose between 'Practice' and 'Pre-read' modes
  8. Toggle on the 'Shuffle' option if you want the order of the flashcards to be shuffled
  9. Click on a flashcard to flip it or hit they spacebar on your keyboard
  10. Complete the set and practice!

What is 'Pre-read' mode?

In the 'Pre-read' mode, students can use these Flashcards to familiarize themselves with new information before starting a new topic or lesson.

Students simply need to flip through each Flashcard and use arrow buttons to navigate to the next.

What is 'Practice' mode?

Practice mode helps active recall of information and repeated exposure to it. This is ideal for long-term retention of concepts. Students can flip a flashcard and assess themselves by clicking on the 'I know' bucket if they know the answer or clicking on the 'I'm learning' bucket if they don't.

If they don't know the answer, clicking on the 'I'm learning' bucket will prompt the same Flashcard to reappear later for another attempt. To complete the Flashcard set, they must know the answers to all of the flashcards.

After completing this set of flashcards, students can view their Confidence score on the summary screen. This score provides a quick overview of how many flashcards they know and how many they don't. They can then click the 'Learn now' button to revisit and practice the flashcards they struggled with.
