What is YouTube Player for Education on Wayground?

YouTube Player for Education allows you to show ad-free, distraction-free videos directly in your Lessons, Assessments/Quizzes, Interactive Videos, etc., which helps students be focused and on task. It’s a safer, more secure way to use YouTube in classrooms, especially for schools and districts where YouTube is often blocked or restricted.

How does it work?

With YouTube Player for Education, you can:

  • Enjoy seamless video integration in your Wayground resources and sessions (Lessons, Assessments/Quizzes, Interactive Videos, etc.) and stay on track

Who can access it?

This feature is exclusively available for Wayground School and District Plans. If your school or district already has one of these plans, you’ll see the YouTube Player for Education option in your video settings.
