As an Administrator, you can now add your teachers and staff from one school, multiple schools, or your entire district to your Wayground roster by simply uploading a file.

This feature is available on the Wayground School & District Plan.

To bulk import teachers' details, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the 'Admin Controls' button, followed by ‘Manage Teachers’
  2. Choose the 'Roster Members' option

  3. Click on 'Upload file' to upload the spreadsheet that has the required details of your teachers and staff
    1. Make sure that the details in the spreadsheet adhere to the Wayground template
    2. In case you do not have the Wayground template, click on 'Download template'
    3. Click on 'Upload', select the spreadsheet on your device, and click on 'Open'
    4. You can also drag and drop the spreadsheet file to upload it

Note: The Wayground spreadsheet template includes columns for details like the teacher's subject, grade, and school, enabling a proper roster setup right from the beginning. However, the email column is the only mandatory field. Other columns are optional, providing you with the choice to include as much or as little information

If you'd like to add staff members to your roster manually, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the 'Admin Controls' button, followed by ‘Manage Teachers’
  2. Choose the 'Add member' option
  3. Enter the email address of the teacher and press Enter
    • You can add multiple email addresses as well
  4. Click on 'Invite'
